A direct-drive bike trainer that integrates directly with your bike’s drive train. By simply removing your rear wheel and slipping the trainer into your dropouts, it replaces the need for mushy, slippery tire-to-roller connections, while eliminating wheel and tire wear and tear.
The LeMond Revolution features High-Inertia Technology (HIT), designed with a large, weighted fly wheel that mimics the inertia of a rolling bicycle. The Revolution spins freely when the pedals aren’t engaged, and delivers progressive wind resistance similar to real-world conditions.
The Revolution fits all road bikes and works seamlessly with your mountain bike or winter-specific cross bike. Simply remove the back wheel, attach the rear dropouts to the spindle and go. No more tire slippage and wear, front wheel blocks or unstable platforms. Plus save to 0 a year by not having to replace worn out rear tires.

Excellent Trainer,
I have had the Lemond Revolution for about six weeks and have used it for about 80 hours. I could not be happier. The trainer allows me to work on my peddling technique and try different techniques for the best power. It does seem to have good “real world” bicycling feel. It has a pretty small footprint and only takes up a small amount of space. Standing while peddling works well and there is no movement of the trainer on the floor.
I have seen comments about the noise generated, which can be a bit loud if you are really hammering it, but it is not a problem at my location. I have never used another trainer, so have nothing to compare it to. However, I really like the fact that I am not putting any wear and tear on my rear wheel components or tire while using this trainer.
A previous reviewer commented about knee pain caused by the amount of exertion needed on the upstroke – all of the recent training info that I have seen recommends against pulling on the upstroke, so I never do it on the trainer. I started riding bikes again because of knee problems and I have not experienced any knee pain or other problems associated with the trainer.

First 3 Weeks Training,evolution,not revolution,
Setup was simple, stability good. Smaller footprint with no rear tire, might provide a support for the front dropout as well.
Like other trainers is still very noisy. Using the Pad meter it is about 70 DB near the high end of the green range with a somewhat annoying high pitched tone. The fan moves some air around the room but not toward the rider. I have to use head phones for comfort.
Spinning up in high gear still does not give much resistance(resistance drops with RPMs), but pedal feel is realistic. I probably will skip the power meter since it is hard to generate peak effort even in top gears. Not a revolution but OK.
