The set up was easy. The unit itself told me everything I needed to do. I did the test ride and it was fine. The next day I went out to do my first day of iSlim. It was easy to follow the directions once I noticed the cadence goal. Then I set my gears so that I was in the right cadence area and then just needed to watch my speed. It started out rather easy but by the end of the session, I was really working. So the next day I went out and did Day Two. Same thing. Started relatively easy, but not too easy. It was pushing my cadence more than I would do on my own. By the end of the ride I was feeling pumped. I felt like I did some real work. I was kind of proud of myself. And I felt really good. So I went out the next day and felt the same thing. I was really really feeling good and feeling good about myself. But by now I started to notice those endorphins. Wow. That really got me hooked. I’ve been keeping up the riding regularly and pushing harder and harder. I have a Withings wireless scale and pretty regularly weigh myself. Over the first two weeks I saw a little change in weight. Nothing spectacular. Then I looked at my Withings file on my computer. There was a wonderful declining line on my body fat index. Wow! I was losing tons of body fat fast. That was so exciting. I could really see a wonderful difference in my clothes and it just wasn’t weight. I was turning my fat to muscle! Wow. Was I excited. I had to interrupt my riding for some surgery but I can’t wait to get back. It feels so good to know that you can do something to really control your weight and not let it control you. It makes you feel like you are in control of your life, not your body fat.
